We love it when a plan comes together, and it came together well at the BIAB Christmas party in Westminster on the 16th December! In our last Christmas update here we brought you up to date with all the preparations for our Christmas plans, and we're now long overdue to let you know what happened next
13 year old Joe got into the Christmas spirit with our homeless friends, and he wants to share with you this message...
What is Christmas without mince pies, plum pudding and Christmas crackers? The Breakfast In A Bag team have two Christmas events to organise for the homeless at Christmas - our Christmas Event on the 16th December and our Christmas morning food station, where we will be serving omelettes, sausages, tomatoes, and hot drinks with Christmas songs and cheer. As always we rely heavily on the generosity of supporters, local business and big brand names to help us to help as many homeless rough sleepers as possible. It's never easy to ask for money or donations and more so at a time when everyone is planning and budgeting for Christmas. But we're not prepared to let our homeless friends down at any time, least of all during the Season of Goodwill, so we have been asking anyway! And what a great response we're having!
It's the final countdown! Donations are in, the tree is ready and waiting, the plans are in place... Now all we need is our homeless guests! So they know when and where to come, Luke has designed these bright and cheerful flyers for Michelle and the team to hand out at the Breakfast stations and on outreach nights.

Christmas is almost upon us and, here at Breakfast In A Bag we are counting down to the big day with our very own advent calendar! Remember to check back each day to see what is revealed behind each digital door and share with your friends, so we can help spread the #TeamBIAB word as far and wide as possible, especially over the Season of Goodwill!
When we started advertising our intent to host a Christmas "party" for our homeless friends one of our biggest hurdles was providing special Christmas treats in addition to breakfast bags and food stations. One of our supporters recommended we contact The Ultimate Plum Pudding Company, who immediately arranged to donate a whopping 540 delicious plum puddings for our homeless friends to enjoy at our Christmas Event! What a wonderful donation!
Remember the date! Friday 16th December 2016 we are hosting a Christmas event for our homeless friends in London. Our Christmas event will be outdoors and will include a Gospel Choir, hats, party food, cakes, sweeties, lots of fun and a few special surprises!
